Okay, where to start, first let me apologize for my poor writing and grammar.

The last 15 months have been very difficult for me personally with family and personal problems, this has filtered into my business life and has had some negative effects on the company.

#1- AccuFLEX is not going out of business., we are experiencing some "pains" where we have been carrying too many inventory items, and cash flow is not always at its best, this has caused some delivery hiccups and we plan to solve this issue by cutting down the product sku's and eliminating some of the older shafts models, even being they may still be popular and are great shafts, we have become "fat" with too many shaft choices, this will be slimmed down for this 2008 season and beyond.

We are a small component company that has saw tremendous growth over the last several years with great products that have proved themselves on all major stages, we first were welcomed to the scene by dominating the Long Drive championships (we are still the winningest shaft by far), we have 25 PGA Tour wins including 3 Major Championships, these accomplishments not to mention tech awards, product awards, and more, that speak volumes for the quality and performance of AccuFLEX shafts. Well we are always looking to do more and I believe we tried to grow too quick by throwing lots of money at the major professional tours including the PGA, this is an expensive investment and with little support from the major OEM‘s (because we were not properly prepared to capitalize on this success with these larger companies) the amount of money spent versus the amount of sales started to become unbalanced quickly, in short being a business with no investors, no real debt, no credit lines, just being boot strapped from the ground up, we were running out of money to operate and grow on other fronts of the business, so the PGA tour sucked part of the vibrant life we experience in “old fashioned“ areas of the company, these are what we have realized, get back to our roots, produce a great product, sell at a reasonable price, give great customer service and support, and the rest will take care of itself.

#2- Owners club, this has been somewhat of a nightmare since early in its inception, the concept is great but I take 100% blame in not seeing this program further along. For the initial $12.95 (which included the priority shipping) I believe the value for initial investment was fully realized with the welcome package, however the extras and add-ons that most members were anticipating were very limited, so for this we need to fix. I propose to fix this by giving away an exclusive Owners Club shaft FREE to all existing members at no charge for the shaft, this will become a reality sometime in late spring/early summer. In addition we are compiling a Prototype/close out list of shafts that will be offered to members for purchase as originally talked about as a member perk. In moving forward we will have the ability to communicate with the members in real time and send updates of industry happenings specific to AccuFLEX, as well as emailing offers for members only to purchase closeouts and rare shafts, as well as being new product testers.

#3- We have changed personnel, the disconnect of our sales force being on the west coast while the headquarters are on the east coast made for at times not the best customer experience, while our sales staff had the best technology for communication and did the best they could, having the phone calls and sales staff in house where the product is shipped from and the factory/warehouse is located, I believe is essential in keeping a better "connection" with the customer to deliver real time answers and make the experience overall better. We currently will be handling all sales calls and orders. etc.. totally "in house" your sales associate will be changing you will be dealing with Jamie or myself directly toll free 704.349.4099 orders@accuflexgolf.com
The logistics are much better, there will be some "re-learning" some information with some accounts, but we look forward to serving you better with the staff being "in house".

#4- Not being in some major component catalogs, it seems the breathe of doom is breathed upon a company if they are not in one of the major component catalogs, well we worked very hard to be included into these catalogs early on and have had a good run, the fact of the matter is, the cost in “advertising” in these catalogs does not make financial sense as it becomes a “wash” by years end when the exorbitant cost to advertise versus the amount of sales does not mesh.
I welcome any comments and questions, you can email them to me directly at accuflexgolf@yahoo.com I apologize for my lack of communication over the past 12 months and for being hard to reach, I am working on getting back into the swing of things and looking at taking AccuFLEX even further in the future. I appreciate all of the past support and I look forward to continued future support as we move forward and look to improve and only do better.

Sincerely and Humbly,
Jody Baucom
